Holland Village or as we locals call it “Holland V” is a 5 minutes drive or 1 MRT station away from Wilshire Residences. Steeped in European charm, Holland Village boasts a trove of al-fresco cafes, bars and restaurants. Whether you are looking for local hawker food or international cuisines, you are sure to satisfy your appetite here. That’s right, you can get local fare such as chicken rice, fishball noodles to Mexican, Japanese, and Western food.

On the other side of Holland Avenue is a neighbourhood that was formerly developed as British military housing in the 1950s, but is now owned by the Singapore government and rented to private individuals and, on Jalan Merah Saga, businesses. Some of the popular hang-outs are local ice-cream cafes like Daily Scoop, Sunday folks to your cafes like Arabica Coffee. 

Holland Village has a good mix of specialty shops and commercial amenities. There are three shopping centres in Holland Village: Raffles Holland V, Holland Road Shopping Centre and Holland V Shopping Mall.
